First time back since the name change from Steigenberger to Dorint and most things are still the same including the great service and breakfast. After checking into my room there was a strong odour of wet carpet which didn't go away because the AC in the room was not working. However the young lady at reception quickly booked me into another room which I found much more comfortable and did not have that strong odour. I much preferred the new room I was given which was more spacious. She also gave me the bar vouchers the previous receptionist forgot to give to me, and quickly sorted out a payment discrepancy after the previous receptionist who checked me in mixed up the numbers and charged me about €60 more than my booking. She realised his mistake and quickly rectified it. She was really helpful and friendly and made my stay more enjoyable despite the issues I faced. I definitely applaud her for a great job. I still don't understand why those errors were made by the first receptionist but payment details is something that should be carefully considered because if I had decided to pay during check out and the same mistake was made, it might have made getting the refund more complicated after I had left. However I am very grateful for the quick solution of the young lady at the reception and her helpfulness throughout my stay. Hence my high score.

Third time staying here and as always I loved it as the staff are always helpful and welcoming. I especially loved the food here. The breakfast was great as always and the steak dish I ordered at the bar was perfect. My compliments to the kitchen staff and especially the waiter. She had a great attitude and sense of humour. My high score is mainly for the hotel staff who deserve a lot of credit.

Everything was perfect for a one night stay. We had indicated that we would arrive earlier and just drop off our luggage. When we arrived already at 12.30 we were told at check-in that our room was already ready for us to occupy and freshen-up without any addition early arrival cost. We did not have breakfast the next day, just some tea/coffee as provided with the room.

a) location is super in the city center which we can reach many shops and restaurant and attraction by foot. b) the breakfast is consider good but a bit pricey compare to other hotel in term of value vs food variety. c) the room setup is nice however the bed quality need to improve where you can feel the pocket string when you sit down on the bed.
